I've owned this site for many years now and after a few years hiatus, I'm going to bring it back. Archade is the old spelling of the word 'arcade'. It's not really in use that much these days. Not sure what I'll be doing with this site yet, but it'll focus on freeware games. For now, this place-setter will have to suffice while I have a think about it -:)

By the way, this page is best viewed through a Safari Browser, preferably on a screen with high resolution. It looks terrible on any other setup. It's the year 2010 and I think I can safely say that the text rendering philosophies employed by the Windows programmers are outdated and, quite frankly, embarrassing. I hear they'll be using Direct Write for IE9. About time. I hope it's an improvement.

Before my fellow Windows users disagree, have a look at this page on Safari (with the Quartz engine running), on a 17 inch screen with 1920x1200 resolution. If you have eyes, you'll see the difference. I've thrown this one-page wonder together from scatch in half an hour. Give me a bit more time and I'll see if I can improve things.
